Does Golden Glow contain caffeine?
A small amount, from the green tea. It's a fraction of what's in a cup of coffee, and most people find it works fine in the afternoon and evening. If you're very caffeine-sensitive, start earlier in the day. The other five ingredients, including rooibos, are naturally caffeine free.
What does Golden Glow taste like?
Warm and lightly spiced, closer to a chai without the milk than to anything medicinal. Ginger and Ceylon cinnamon lead, turmeric gives it body and the golden color, and red rooibos finishes it with a natural sweetness. Most people drink it plain. It's also very good with honey or a splash of oat milk.
How do I brew it?
One sachet in 8 oz of hot water for 5 minutes. Steep it longer if you like it stronger, it won't turn bitter. Good in the morning, after meals, or as an afternoon reset.
How many cups are in each pack?
The 1 Pack has 20 sachets, the 2 Pack has 40, and the 3 Pack has 60. One sachet makes one 8 oz cup, so a single pouch is about three weeks of daily cups.
Can I pause or cancel a subscription?
Anytime, from your account, in two clicks. There's no minimum number of orders, no phone call, and no email required. You can also skip a delivery or change how often it arrives.
When will my order arrive?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery time depends on the shipping option you choose, and you'll see estimated arrival dates for each at checkout. Tracking arrives by email as soon as your order ships.
Is it safe to drink every day?
Yes. Golden Glow is a tea made from organic ingredients traditionally enjoyed daily. If you're pregnant, nursing, or taking medication, check with your healthcare provider first. Ginger and turmeric can interact with some medications, including blood thinners, so it's worth asking.
Are the sachets really compostable?
Yes, including the sachet itself. They're plant-based with no plastic mesh, so the whole thing can go into your compost once you're done. Most tea bags contain plastic. Ours don't.
Where is Steap tea made?
Golden Glow is blended and packed in the USA from USDA Organic, non-GMO ingredients, in plant-based compostable sachets.
Who is behind Steap?
Steap was founded by a husband and wife team.
